Troubleshooting list

1. Cannot power on the HMD

Try the following steps:

1. Using a charger and cable, please plug in the HMD and wait for about 15 seconds. Then, press the power key of HMD to check whether it can be powered on. If it does power on, charge the HMD until the battery is full.

2. If the device does not power on, please repeat Step 1 using another compatible cable or charger (the type used for mobile devices should be compatible). If the device does power on, the original cable or charger is broken and should be replaced.

3. If the device still cannot be powered on, contact Pico.

2. Cannot charge the HMD

Try the following steps:

1. Using a charger and cable, please plug in the device that will not power.

2. If the battery voltage is too low, the HMD may not be charged, so the original charging cable needs to be continuously inserted twice for battery activation.

3. Status Indicator or Function LED of the HMD is not bright or does not light up

Try the following steps:

1. Check whether the HMD can be powered on.

2. If the HMD can be powered on, or the hand controller connected to the HMD, contact us with the title: Status Indicator or Function LED is broken.

3. If the HMD cannot be powered on or the hand controller cannot be connected to the HMD, refer to the troubleshooting section: Cannot power on the HMD.

4. The hand controller cannot control, or does not work with the HMD

Try the following steps:

1. Restart the HMD and hand controller.

2. The hand controller’s battery might be low, and may need to be replaced / charged.

3. If the Hand controller’s battery is not low, check whether the Hand controller’s is beyond the control distance, which is up to 10 meters (32.8 feet). If the Hand controller is outside of the control distance, bring it within range of the HMD.

4. If none of the above steps resolve the problem, contact Pico.

5. The hand controller cannot select items during use.

Try the following steps:

1. Follow the above steps from the section 'The hand controller cannot control, or does not work with the HMD' to check whether the hand controller can control the HMD.

2. Enter the setting menu and re-center the hand controller.

3. If none of the above steps resolve the problem, contact Pico.

6. No sound or low volume

Try the following steps:

1. Check whether the audio pin is properly inserted into the audio jack.

2. Check whether the volume icon display normally, by pressing the volume keys.

3. Restart the HMD and check the volume icons again to test the volume.

4. If the audio still does not work properly, please change the earphones and test the volume again.

5. If none of the above steps help resolve the problem, contact Pico.

7. Can't see picture or video stored in SD card

Ensure the headset is connected to Wi-fi, then perform the following steps:

1. Check whether the micro SD card is properly inserted. Remove, and reinsert the micro SD card.

2. Restart the HMD and check whether the pictures and videos can now be viewed.

3. If the pictures and videos stored on the card still cannot be viewed, please insert another SD card into the HMD to check whether the HMD properly recognizes the new card or insert the SD into another device to check whether the SD card works normally.

4. If none of the steps above help resolve the problem, contact us with the title: Can’t view the SD card.

8. Cannot connect with Wi-Fi

Try the following steps:

1. Restart the HMD and attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi signal of choice

2. If the device cannot connect to the chosen signal, try another Wi-Fi access point if available.

3. If the device cannot connect to WIFI, use another device to connect with the WIFI signal to check whether the WIFI works normally.

4. Find none of the above steps resolve the problem, please contact Pico.
